Multi-point locking for enhanced security
At Sheffield Double Glazing Company, all our front doors are fitted with multi-point locking systems as standard. This helps them to resist any attempts at forced entry to give you peace of mind. With an anti-snap and anti-drill door cylinder, our front doors can achieve rigorous Secured by Design accreditation for their enhanced security credentials. Secured by Design is a police initiative to prevent burglaries by designing out break-ins by creating an almost impenetrable door system.

Traditional Front Door Colours
We have a plethora of traditional colours to bring your home charm and character to life.
Georgian front door colours
While traditional and extremely elegant, the Georgian period is known for using colour and patterns within their architecture. Front doors were often painted in bold shades of red or blue. However, black doors were especially popular and created a striking aesthetic against the white plasterwork. This was often paired with checkerboard tiling paths that lead up to the front door and with brass door knockers, letterboxes, and door numbers. Light blue also complements classic four and six-panel doors, adding an unexpected yet chic splash of colour.
Victorian front door colours
Black continued to be a popular colour for front doors within the Victorian period but when it came to adding colours, the tones became deeper and ‘moodier’ compared to Georgian doors. Which makes navy a fitting choice for a timeless Victorian aesthetic. Steel-blue or Grey-blue combined with chrome door furniture and sophisticated glazing can create a striking yet classical feel to the exterior of your home.
1930s front door colours
The name Chartwell Green originated from Winston Churchill painting his garden furniture a similar colour green at his family home in Kent, Chartwell House. You can see this playful and bright colour across the UK.
